  • For the past three years I have worked with several companies and individuals on a contract or project basis.  The roles have ranged from sourcing to training and/or speaking.  During this time I have helped others learn how to leverage technology to find information, but most of all, to save time and work more productively and efficiently.  As well as training, I have spoken at several conferences, seminars, and training events.

Sourcer (Contract position)

  • I am responsible for identifying, sourcing, attracting, and networking with top talent to position the best people with the best organizations locally and across the US.  I have been on contract with Centennial as a Recruiting Manager to train their recruiters on best practices for sourcing, contacting, and getting referrals from prospective candidates and networking contacts.
  • It has been my role as identifying, attracting, and introducing high caliber candidates through social media and strong sourcing strategies.  Developed a network of strong candidates through industry contacts, association memberships, community involvement, and many events through social media.

Business Manager (Contract position)

  • Nexigen Communications was founded in 2003 with the goal of providing growing organizations with a single company for all their technology needs while lessening the technological burden often placed on these companies. Since that time Nexigen has developed into a company known for its continual development in response to client needs and expectations.
  • As the Business Manager, I spend most of my time in organizational development – implementing new business processes, creating marketing and sourcing strategies, and developing creative ways to improve productivity and increase business while effectively managing daily operations.

Sourcing Strategist (Contract position)

  • Short term project:  Lead sourcing initiative for boutique consulting firm to create a position that would contribute to an increase in talent acquisition and client development
  • Brought on board to implement a sourcing strategy for SEI’s recruiting efforts.  Responsible for increasing candidate flow to recruiters in the Atlanta, Dallas, Boston, Cincinnati, and Phoenix markets.
    • Developed an internal database to track pipeline and run reports that help make the office more efficient and successful
    • Directed management staff on how to utilize the recruiters’ time more effectively and increase productivity therefore maximizing ROI

 

Jonathan Scott International                                                                                                    2009-2010

Research Manager

  • Recruited to build JSI’s Healthcare IT initiatives including developing a database of 60,000 plus hospital, medical center, and healthcare contacts nationwide.
  • Responsible for candidate and client acquisition using internal and external database searches, Boolean searches, postings, joining associations/organizations, creating search agents to monitor internet activity, etc.  Initiate conversations/build relationships with prospective candidates and clients promoting the company and our services. Use aggregators to target certain accounts and create new marketing lists.  Handle email blasts with marketing material using Constant Contact
  • Developed and maintained “Touch Plan” to create a 30% increase in business in the first 60 days of implementation.  Developed and maintained an online presence to include social media, social networking, blogging, and company website.  Design marketing material, presentations, website layouts, blogs, and whatever else is needed to keep company “modern” and appeal to our target audience.
  • In charge of database management, organization, upgrades/updates/changes.  Maintain the integrity of existing and new data.  Stay on top of new research methods and software (conduct trials and provide feedback to managers).  Create and run reports to monitor candidate tracking, recruiter performance/metrics, along with number tracking to measure office performance, etc
  • Engaged in speaking at conferences nationwide to inform recruiters how to leverage technology in their offices in order to create more business, automate processes, and stay current with online trends, communication methods, and social networking.

 

Bridges and Associates, West Chester, OH                                                                       2007 – 2009

Internet Researcher

  • Partnered with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to review recruiting options and to establish Recruiting Plan.
  • Conducted research and ongoing sourcing activities to identify and attract highly competitive candidates for key talent needs using passive and direct sourcing techniques; contact candidates and establish relationships for pipelining.
  • Researched new recruiting sites and posted open positions where applicable; posted newly-opened positions
  • Researched industry competitive intelligence and analyze external market trends.

 

 

Sourcing Strategist/Leadership Training

  • It is one of my passions to be able to work with different people and organizations, teaching them how to be effective and successful with their most precious resource: time. It is my goal to help them leverage technology in order to improve candidate and client acquisition, develop marketing strategies and utilize social media to increase productivity and overall success.
